Troy Green has spent his life serving others and building opportunity where it didn’t exist. For more than 30 years, he taught martial arts, creating a safe space for at-risk youth, abuse survivors, and Oklahomans searching for discipline, confidence, and growth. In 2022, he retired from teaching full-time, but his mission didn’t stop. He founded Safe Haven Oklahoma, a nonprofit dedicated to fighting human trafficking and child exploitation.
Before that, Troy served 30 years combined in law enforcement, juvenile detention, and private security — gaining firsthand experience with public safety, justice, and the challenges ordinary Oklahomans face every day. He knows what it means to stand on the front lines for his community.
Troy’s strength comes from resilience. Though his childhood was marked by hardship — foster care, poverty, and homelessness — he never gave up. Instead, he turned struggle into service and pain into purpose. His life is proof that grit and determination can overcome the toughest obstacles.
Today, Troy is a small business owner, security specialist, husband to a nurse, and proud father of a Marine. He’s running for the U.S. Senate because he believes Oklahoma deserves a leader who knows what it means to struggle, who understands the value of hard work, and who will never stop fighting for better schools, safer communities, and a government that works for everyone.
“I wasn’t born into privilege, and I don’t answer to special interests. I’m running because I know the struggles of working families, and I’ll never stop fighting for them. Just like my own life, this campaign is Built, Not Bought.”
With over three decades of experience in law enforcement, security, and community leadership, Troy has built his reputation on professionalism, persistence, and integrity. He previously served as a police officer and is also a lifelong martial artist, holding multiple black belts and over 30 years as a martial arts instructor.
Troy Green earned a B.A. in History with minors in English and Philosophy, and is pursuing a Master’s in Criminal Justice at the University of Oklahoma. His diverse background combines academic expertise with practical investigative skills, allowing him to approach problems with both analytical depth and real-world experience.
Families are being crushed by rising costs while Washington politicians protect corporate profits. Troy supports raising wages so full-time work means financial security, not poverty. He’ll support federal funding of public education, affordable higher education, and work to ensure fair trade policies that protect Oklahoma jobs.
Endless wars have cost Oklahomans dearly while politicians get rich on defense contracts. Troy will demand policies that protect national security while honoring veterans with real care, not broken promises. His commitment: no foreign entanglement without a clear mission, clear strategy, and clear plan for veterans when they come home.
Insurance companies are pricing families out of our health care, and Sen. Mullin voted for more Oklahomans to lose their health insurance. Troy is dedicated to lowering prescription drug costs, holding insurance companies accountable, and protecting and expanding Medicare.
Senators should serve the people, not their stock portfolios. Troy will back legislation to ban members of Congress from owning or trading individual stocks while in office. Oklahomans deserve leaders who follow the same laws as everyone else.
Oklahoma has become a crossroads for human trafficking while Washington politicians look the other way. Troy will make combating trafficking and child exploitation a top national priority, fully funding law enforcement task forces and survivor services, and advocate a full release of the Epstein Files. He brings firsthand experience through Safe Haven Oklahoma, working on the front lines against predators and organized trafficking rings.
Troy has lived the life of working Oklahomans, not Washington insiders. He will hold open town halls across Oklahoma, bring people’s voices directly into policy, and refuse to let corporate lobbyists write our laws.
